WPDOGS v1.7
History File:
v1.7 - Program now reads baud rate from the dropfile.
- Added different race lengths.
- Now deletes users who do not play in a Sysop configurable set amount
of days.
- Removed the unregistered delays.
- Changed the way the odds were figured.
- Changed the trainer/schooling races for new dogs. Now runs one race
for each length.
v1.6 - Introduced a new error into my DOOR library. Would not allow users
to log into the game locally as new. Fixed it.
- Added the new registration code to the edit dogs program!
v1.5 - Added a new registration subroutine.
- Added a new help feature to the stats screen. Too many users
complained of not being able to read the stats.
v1.4 - Fixed one mistake created a bug. All better now.
v1.3 - Found a mistake I made. Not really a bug.
v1.2 - Fixed a small bug that messed up the local screen when a user with
more than 60 minutes tried to play even though they had run out of
races or money for this day.
- Fixed a bug that would allow a user to play even after running the
limit of 14 races. The user had to login in twice more to cause the
user file to reset the race number to 0.
- Added the high score screen functionality of the program. I meant
to add this from the beginning, but I was trying to get the program
out by ChristMas 1994.
- Added an error routine. If an error should occur, a file called
WPDOGS.ERR will be created. This file will contain hints on what
can be done to fix the problem, and what problem did occur. If the
problem is not correctable, have the information from this file
handy when contacting me about the problem.
- Many changes added to the WPDOGS.DOC file.
v1.1 - The day after I released it, I found a bug with the help of a local
sysop. It was not keeping track of the race numbers properly.
- Also I found a bug in the EditDogs program. If you were not
registered, then the bug did not affect you.
- A couple spelling mistakes were fixed in the doc file.
v1.0 - First release to the public.
